Mark and Ward had been friends in the advertising community for 15 years before joining forces in 2003. Ward’s 16 year marketing and advertising background was in radio and cable television sales and sales management. Marks career in television sales and sales management spanned 20 years before BrownRice was formed.
Instead of creating the typical former “media reps” advertising agency, they decided their interest and focus should be more than just the advertising. Being born salesmen, leaders, and consultants, they created a firm that emphasizes several disciplines:
